About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Casual Barista to work at our café site in Waitakere Hospital, Auckland. Hours of work will be as and when required, dependent on business needs.

You will be responsible for:
  • making consistently outstanding coffee for all customers
  • having good milk production and coffee art skills
  • providing excellent customer service
  • assisting with general catering assistant duties in café
Ideal skills and experience you will have:
  • Past Barista Experience, working in a fast-paced environment;
  • Have excellent understanding of all hygiene, health and food safety practices in a food environment;
  • Demonstrate a passion for food, people, customer service and quality;
  • Have excellent communication skills;
  • Preferably hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168), but this is not a requirement.
