ECE Support Teacher – Full Time (Monday to Friday)

Join a fun, supportive, child-centred team

We are seeking a full-time ECE Support Teacher who is passionate about working alongside tamariki and contributing to a warm, nurturing learning environment. This role is perfect for someone who loves being part of a collaborative team and finds joy in helping children grow, explore, and thrive.

Experience in an ECE centre is advantageous, but the right attitude, energy, and commitment to supporting children’s learning is essential.
  • About the Role

Full-time position, Monday to Friday

Work alongside qualified kaiako to support children’s learning and daily routines

Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and fun environment

Build strong relationships with tamariki, whanau, and colleagues

Support kaiako to maintain a clean, safe, and homely environment by carrying out essential housekeeping tasks, including daily cleaning, washing, tidying, and ensuring learning spaces are welcoming and well-prepared for tamariki.
  • What We’re Looking For

A genuine passion for working with tamariki

A warm, caring, flexible and reliable team member

Someone who enjoys being hands-on, playful, and engaged

A positive communicator who values teamwork

Experience in an ECE setting is beneficial but not required
  • Benefits of Working With Us

Meaningful work — every day you make a difference in children’s lives

Supportive team culture — work with kaiako who uplift, guide, and encourage one another

Fun, energetic environment — no two days are the same

Stable weekday hours — enjoy work-life balance with Monday–Friday shifts

Opportunities to grow — learn from experienced teachers and gain valuable skills

Connection with tamariki — build relationships that are rewarding and heart-warming

Creative, hands-on work — engage in play, exploration, and learning experiences every day
  • Why You’ll Love Working Here

You’ll join a centre that values high-quality relationships, collaboration, and child-led learning. We believe in creating an environment where both tamariki and kaiako feel supported, respected, and inspired.

If you’re ready to bring your heart, your professionalism, and your passion for our youngest learners to a centre that genuinely honours the magic of the early years, we’d love to hear from you.

Send your CV and a short introduction to apply now.
