Our brand-new STIHL Shop in Wairau Valley, Glenfield is opening approx. second week of September 25, and we are seeking a proactive, reliable, and customer-focused Sales & Parts Co-Ordinator to join our foundation team.This is a hands-on, varied role at the heart of our retail and service operations – assisting customers in-store and online, sourcing and coordinating parts, and supporting our workshop team to deliver exceptional service.
We have one full-time position available, offering 30–35 hours per week with a pay rate of $23.50 to $25.00 per hour. The pay range reflects the skills, attitude, and commitment the successful applicant brings to the role.
Please note: Weekend and public holiday availability is a core requirement for this role. Applicants who cannot commit to regular weekend and public holiday work will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate products or services
- Sell STIHL and other outdoor power equipment in-store and online
- Identify, source, and manage parts for a wide range of machinery
- Liaise with service technicians to ensure accurate and timely parts coordination
- Maintain stock levels, process deliveries, and manage inward goods
- Assemble and prepare products for showroom display or customer collection
- Keep the showroom and stockroom clean, safe, and organized
- Support the daily operations of the store as required
- Retail or trade sales experience preferred (not essential)
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-first approach
- Good computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask
- A team player who can also work independently and take initiative
- Physically fit – able to assist with moving and assembling equipment
- Knowledge of outdoor power equipment is advantageous but not required
