The Role
We are seeking a talented and professional local Barber to join our high-performing Auckland team on the weekends! This is a permanent, part-time position offering a stable and rewarding work environment. At BarberShopCo we are more than just a barbershop – we are a tight knit crew that celebrates creativity, growth and shared success.- Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (plus tips, uncapped bonuses, and tool allowance).
- Contract Type: Permanent Part Time (weekends only). There may be the opportunity to pick up extra shifts if they become available.
- Provide high-quality barbering services including shaving, scissor cutting, razors/clippers, fades, and beard trimming.
- Perform shampoo/conditioning and face/neck treatments.
- Provide world-class customer service and engage in retail product sales.
- Maintain workstation hygiene and adhere to all Health & Safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the team and participate in ongoing training.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in barbering or hairdressing.
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of modern trends and proficiency in all barbering techniques (specifically fades and shaving).
- You are a N.Z. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Attributes: A professional attitude, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
