Japanese Restaurant Manager

Full time, permanent position with minimum 35 working hours per week.

As a manager, you will closely work with our team and manage day to day operation of the restaurant.

• Opening and closing till and keeping financial records and check stock level regularly and accordingly;
• Creating sales analysis with reports on sales/purchase upon request;
• Create shift rosters for the team for casual workers ensuring that staffing level are suitable to maintain the quality of service to customers;
• Ensuring the restaurant is running effectively and profitably by managing beverage/food selling price and wage cost and other costs where possible;
• Ensuring selecting suitable personals for any vacant positions and providing training if required;
• Plan menu with chef(s) and decide prices for dishes in the menu and retail pricing for beverage/alcohol;
• Make sure feedback/opinion/comments from offline and online are well reflected in operation of the restaurant to move forward;
• Meet food(including alcohol) and hygiene standards and other regulations associated with keeping the workplace safe.

The manager position candidates should have prior management experience in Asian Cuisine restaurant for at least 3 years or relevant qualification (oversea qualification is acceptable). LCQ, Manager's licence holders are preferred. If you are oversea now and unable to join us before the early of September, please do not apply for this position.
