LB & Co Espresso is a modern busy cafe located in Ilam near the University of Canterbury.
We are now looking for a new team member to join us and would love to hear from you if you enjoy working as a team, have a great work ethic and know you can provide amazing customer service!
Currently seeking a part time Chef/Cook (roughly 20-30 hours per week).Would consider a temp 3-4 month contract to the right candidate with a vaild work visa.
Ideal candidates would be:- Able to demonstrate a wide range of cooking techniques.
- Capable of cooking high quality meals
- Savvy with food hygiene, health and safety in the workplace
- Passionate about food, coffee and customer service
- Pastry chef or baking skills for cabinet savouries & sweets would be advantageous
- Team players that work well in service oriented environments
- Excellent communicators with strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable and able to work flexible hours including weekends
A Commercial Cookery Qualification and/or Food Safety Certificate is preferred.
