This is underpinned by anintegrated whole of system approach. Are youready to make a difference for the crisis response in our local districtspecialist mental health and addiction services? We arelooking for a Team Leader for the Hutt Crisis Resolution Service who can lead the delivery of clinical services acrossthe crisis response function, ensuring that people who present at a vulnerabletime in their lives receive care in a way that is safe, effective andmana-enhancing.Leading a team of highlyexperienced and skilled mental health clinicians, the Team Leader will work inpartnership with other agencies such as New Zealand Police, local EmergencyDepartments, primary care/NGO providers, and Whakarongorau Aotearoa to provideseamless, integrated care across the system.
This is an exciting time, with several changes happening to crisis careat a local and national level and aligning the service with these developmentsand meeting KPIs/national health targets will be a key deliverable for thisrole.About theTeam/Service Location Based at HuttValley Hospital, the Wellington Crisis Resolution Service provides 24/7 clinical,multi-disciplinary assessment, treatment, and care to tāngata whaiora andwhānau who are presenting with acute mental health crisis and need intensivesupport across the Hutt Valley locality.
About you We are lookingfor the following experience and professional requirements:Registered mentalhealth professional with a current Annual Practising Certificate.Working in a waythat aligns with the values and service delivery model of the Local AdultSpecialist Mental Health and Addiction Service including a commitment to TeTiriti ō Waitangi and ensuring equitable outcomes for priority populations.At least 5-7years' experience working in a clinical mental health setting, ideally in acrisis service or community mental health and addiction team.Provenexperience in managing teams through change, both planned and unanticipated.
