Roofing Foreman - must be on the tools

Are you a skilled roofing professional with leadership experience and a passion for delivering high-quality results? We are seeking a Roofing Supervisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing projects, ensuring safety, and driving team success.

We are based in Papamoa, servicing clients throughout Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Te Puke, Rotorua, Katikati, and Waihi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-On Installation: Work on the tools alongside the team, installing roofing materials and ensuring all workmanship meets company standards.
• Team Supervision: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of roofing professionals to ensure exceptional performance.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing health and safety policies, conducting regular site inspections, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple roofing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients on site.
• Director Communication: Report regularly to the Director on project progress, team performance, and any challenges requiring attention.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets company quality standards, conducting thorough inspections throughout and upon project completion.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the course of a project promptly and efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in roofing and team supervision (6+ years experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Excellent understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A valid full driver’s license.
