Depot Manager - Tokoroa

As a Depot Manager, for our Ohinewai site, you'll lead the daily plant operations, manage staff and assist with the safe, efficient LPG delivery to customers. You'll also oversee depot infrastructure and handle on-site visitors and contractors.

What you will enjoy doing
  • A hands-on role, managing the regional depot, overseeing daily operations to support the cylinder market
  • Ensure all distribution activities are carried out safely and efficiently for LPG cylinders
  • Train staff to ensure all procedures follow company standards, delivering quality service to both internal and
external customers
  • Track and report productivity and efficiency. Find opportunities for improvement, creating cost-effective
solutions and address problems quickly
  • Manage the distribution team to achieve company goals, set individual objectives and performance

expectations, and conduct formal development assessments

What makes you great
  • 2+ years' experience in the Gas Industry, or a related industry with similar dynamics, with logistics/distribution
experience at a supervisory level
  • Class 2 licence with 24+ months delivery driving experience driving a manual transmission
  • Be physically fit, as there is lots of heavy lifting involved
  • A strong commitment to Health and Safety, and a solid understanding of compliance processes to meet
statutory requirements
  • Proven leadership and relationship-building abilities, coupled with strong decision-making, problem solving

and written and verbal communication skills
