We are seeking a Registered Nurse to fill the senior nursing leadership position of Clinical Nurse Manager SCBU combined with Chronic Care (Paediatric Outreach) Coordinator. About the Team/Service/ LocationThe SCBU (Special Care Baby Unit) at Lakes DHB is a 10-bed, level two neonatal unit that provides care for sick and/or preterm infants greater than 32 weeks gestation.The Childrens Outreach Nursing Service care for children with acute and chronic illnesses in their home within the Lakes area.
The service consists of a team of experienced childrens nurses who are available 5 days a week 8.30am 4.30pmHealth New Zealand |Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.

Applicants should have 5-7 years post registration experience.Required skills and experience:Senior nurse experience, preferably with neonates.Proven leadership capability.A passion for equity in health outcomes.Proven highly effective written and verbal communication.Above average organisation skills.A sound knowledge of quality management and evidence of embedding this into clinical practice.Proven people management performance management, conflict resolution and team building.
