Commis Chef required for a busy Italian Restaurant A'MANO AUTHENTIC PASTA & CUCINA in Christchurch City Centre.

As a Commis Chef you will be responsible for:
- Assist senior and head chefs by preparing ingridients
- Performing basic cooking tasks
- Maintaining a clean workspace
- Prepare and cook high quality food according tomenu and recipes
- Ensuring that all mise en place is always freshly prepared and on time
- Properly presenting food items
- Carrying out other duties typically exprected of the position as required from time to time
- Ensuring you have high standards of food hygiene and follows the rules of health and safety
- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
- Maintain kitchen equipments in good conditions
- receiving a safe storage of food delivery
- Good teamwork
- Reliable and professional manner
Hours of work: minimum 30hrs up tp 35hrs during busy season.
Must be prepared to work weekends, public holidays, evenings and night shifts.
Pay rate hourly: $25 to $30 - based on experience and qualification.
Previous relevant work experience of 2 year or must have relevant qualification.
