Are you passionate about interior design and driven by results? McKenzie & Willis are searching for a Senior Interior Design Sales Consultant to join our Dunedin Dream Team.
Bring your creativity, expertise, and customer-first mindset to a role that is dynamic and rewarding. This is a full-time, permanent position, including some weekend hours.
What You’ll Be Doing- Engaging with clients in-store, in their homes, and on building sites
- Providing expert guidance on our full range of custom curtains and blinds
- Specifying furniture, wallpapers, bed linen and colours to create the complete look
- Working with plans to help bring customer dreams to life
- Liaising with builders and other trades where required
- Managing customer relationships from initial consultation through to project completion
- Creating accurate quotes using our custom pricing software
- Collaborating with a supportive and energetic sales team
- Proven sales experience in interior furnishings
- Strong skills in measuring and specifying window coverings
- Excellent product knowledge and a commitment to continuous learning
- Outstanding communication, administration, and organisational abilities
- Precision and confidence with measurements and numerical details
- Logical thinking and problem-solving under pressure
- A proactive, business-minded approach
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
