Position Description:Gold Future Mining Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Investment and Finance Officer to lead and manage the investment and financing activities of our mining projects in New Zealand. The successful candidate will play a critical role in project evaluation, business development, and financial management for the company’s long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Feasibility and Investment Evaluation
- Conduct due diligence and feasibility studies on gold mining projects.
- Analyse geological exploration data, mining engineering plans, and mineral processing technologies.
- Use financial modeling techniques (e.g., NPV, IRR, DCF) to assess investment value and risks.
- Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and government policies to inform investment decisions.
- Financing Strategy, Business Development and Investor Relations
- Develop and implement effective project financing strategies.
- Prepare investment proposals, business plans, and roadshow materials to engage investors.
- Build and maintain strong networks with banks, trusts, funds, and private equity firms.
- Negotiate with stakeholders and integrate financial resources for project success.
- Project Management and Execution
- Manage the entire investment project lifecycle, from planning to implementation.
- Coordinate with legal, financial, engineering, and compliance teams.
- Monitor project milestones, budget control, and financing efficiency.
- Establish and maintain a dynamic risk control framework.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in investment and financial management.
- Experience in resource or mining project financing is preferred.
- Proficient in financial analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, or similar software.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and travel domestically or internationally when required.
