PLENTY GROUP’s popular EASTWOOD cafe is located within Scion Research, adjacent to the Whakarewarewa Forest. Eastwood caters to an eclectic bunch of customers - scientists, mountain bikers, tourists, and local Rotorua east-siders out for their daily walk.Nearly five years since opening, we have morphed into a bustling all-day eatery, offering wood-fired pizzas, an inspiring brunch selection and delicious cabinet food. We also provide daily catering for onsite meetings.
Open 7 days from 8am – 3pm.And every Friday night for drinks and pizza.
Our beautiful café space is popular for private events in the evenings.
PARC is the latest addition to our hospo family, located across the road from the Rotorua lakefront. Parc is small but it punches above its weight. Our cinnamon scrolls and danishes are made fresh each morning, our real fruit ice cream tastes honest and unprocessed, and every cup of coffee is brewed with Supreme beans, chosen for their consistency, flavour and the way they reflect real craft.Open seven days 7.30am - 3pm.
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks, while providing exceptional customer service in a welcoming and efficient manner. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating a positive customer experience.
At least one years experience in a high-volume cafe environment, producing up to 350+ coffees per day. Training is provided, but applicants must be able to reach this output with minimal guidance.
Front of House includes clearing and resetting tables, delivering meals, taking orders, preparing cabinet food, preparing cold drinks and alcohol beverages, clean up at the end of the day.
The ideal applicant will already have experience in Front of House and or Barista from a similar busy cafe environment. You'll be working across both outlets. Available for 7.00am starts is essential.
