Permanent full-time position.Alzheimers Society Manawatu Inc (ASMI) is looking for an enthusiastic, focused, and experienced person to become our next Service Manager.
The role is based in Palmerston North with a commencement date of mid-May 2025 (negotiable)

ASMI is an independent NGO providing services to people with dementia and their carers, families/whanau throughout the Mid-Central Region. ASMI is committed to supporting people to live well with dementia, raising awareness and highlighting the needs of people affected by this disease.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Board Chair and Board
You are responsible for the day-to-day operational management of services according to the policies and procedures of ASMI including financial oversight.You are responsible for the leadership and HR management of a team of dedicated and qualified staff and volunteers that include dementia advisers that work in the community and the teams that run the Marion Kennedy Club’s (MKC). MKC day programs for people with dementia are provided in Palmerston North, Levin, Feilding and Dannevirke.
You are responsible for the delivery of quality services to the communities served by ASMI
ABOUT YOU
Experience in leadership and management within the health or disability sector.
Experience in working with people with dementia
Financial Management including budgets

NZ Resident or hold a valid NZ Work Visa
