We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours a week including weekends and public holidays.Remuneration ranges from $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
Successful applicants must hold a Duty Managers Certificate and have 3 years relevant work experience.
The key responsibilities of the Venue Manager are:
- Managing rosters and staffing operations to ensure optimum delivery of service.
- Responsible for compliance with alcohol sales and gambling.
- Managing stock levels and ensuring they are maintained to prevent running out in our 7 day operations
- Responsible for purchasing and vetting of orders, deliveries and stock levels.
- Setting specials, organising and promoting events (including birthdays, weekly events etc) to increase customers.
- Coordinating with the kitchen around menus, specials and pricing.
- Continually researching competitors and setting or adjusting prices where necessary.
- Develops coordinated working relationships with existing and new suppliers and negotiates best price deals for the business.
- Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies
- Manage all business documentation (such as rosters, revenue reconciliation)
- Monitor Trends/events and implement measures based on events, weather, historical sales, location and local marketing.
- Provide regular financial analysis of the business with a view to maximizing profitability and ensuring efficiency of staff and resources.
- Ensure the training of staff, be involved in selection and interview, hiring and supervision of staff to ensure our standards are met.
- "Customer feedback is key to success". Deals with customer feedback and ensures that complaints are handled and resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensuring the establishment meets the health regulations and is clean to the satisfaction of customers.
