About the Role
We are seeking a skilled HVAC IQP Registered or near registered technician with at least an EST electrical licence to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems across various client sites in Auckland.You will also train team members, help develop our SS9 service offerings, and provide IQP 12A sign-offs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform reactive maintenance to resolve HVAC system issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal HVAC system performance.
- Diagnose and rectify HVAC faults.
- Replace or repair HVAC components.
- Report and provide quotations/defect reports for HVAC remedial works.
- Assist in building and managing SS9 sites.
- Train our technicians to perform SS9 routine inspections.
- Perform monthly fire alarm panel testing and respond to fire alarm call-outs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring their needs are met.
- Adhere to all safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
- Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering and/or Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
- IQP Registration in SS9 Mechanical Ventilation & Air Conditioning.
- Hold an EST or Full Practicing License
- A valid driver’s license and the right to work in New Zealand.
- A company vehicle and fuel card.
- Company-provided iPhone, laptop, tools, uniform, and safety boots.
