Workwill be managed in consultation with Case Managers (Multi-Disciplinary membersof Clinical Team) to support the clinical and rehabilitation goals within theconsumers treatment plan.The North Adult Community Psychiatric Service at Hillmorton in theSpecialty Mental Health Service provides specialist assessment and treatment topeople (aged 18-65) whose everyday life is significantly affected by a mentaldisorder.
The Service has a multi-disciplinary mental health team comprised ofPsychiatric Nurses, Consultant Psychiatrist, Occupational Therapists, ClinicalSocial Workers and Psychologists, Registrar, and administration staff.Tobe successful in this role you will have;A current clean drivers license- preferably able to drive both manual and automaticCertificate in Mental Health studies, or other training in Mental HealthExperience in Community Mental Health deliverySkills and ExperienceCommitment to Treaty of Waitangi and bi-cultural practiceAbility to work within the context of a multi-disciplinary teamAbility to engage in a therapeutic relationship with, and advocate for consumersWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
