About the Role We are seeking candidates looking for a clinical training position in post-graduate MRI training.

This training position will be based at Hutt Hospital (part of CCHV District).Trainee MRI Technologists may also be rotated through Wellington hospital to gain a full breadth of training.MRI Technologist training is supported by Radiology Services with clinical tutelage and scanning supervision provided.

About the Team/Service/ Location As a trainee MRI technologist, you'll be working alongside experienced staff to learn how to perform MRI scans safely and effectively.
Your role includes preparing and positioning patients, operating MRI equipment, and ensuring a comfortable experience throughout the procedure.
You'll also support the team by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
You also have the option to work 0.2 FTE as an MIT in order to keep scope of practice.This role offers a pathway into MRI specialisation through the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
Areas of study include MRI technology and its application, safety, imaging appearances, protocol development, and clinical reflection.
About you Candidates must be eligible/enrolled for Post Graduate Diploma in Health Sciences in MRI (PGDipSc MRI) through University of Auckland.Candidates must be eligible for registration with the New Zealand MRTB as a trainee MRI Technologist.Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is
