WAREHOUSE & INVENTORY OPERATOR
  • Manukau
  • Full time position
  • Specialist engineering products
We are a growing and well-established business involved in the manufacture and distribution of specialist sealing products used across many industries.
We run a disciplined, system-driven warehouse where accuracy and reliability are critical. This is not a “pick and pack” environment - our products are technical, and getting it right matters.

This role is central to maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production flow, and ensuring customers receive the right product on time, every time.

The Role
Inventory Control
  • Receive incoming goods, check against purchase orders, and put away into correct bin locations
  • Maintain strict bin location discipline and stock accuracy
  • Carry out cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
  • Monitor shortages and communicate with Sales and Purchasing
Order Fulfilment
  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders and internal kits
  • Build and maintain seal kits for key customers
  • Prepare goods for dispatch with correct labelling and documentation
Systems & Administration
  • Record inwards goods and stock movements in SAP Business One
  • Ensure all stock movements are system-controlled and traceable
  • Support purchasing and logistics with accurate data and reporting
  • Prepare local and international freight documentation
Warehouse Operations
  • Operate handling equipment safely (walkie stackers, trolleys)
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse
  • Develop strong product and location knowledge
What we offer
  • $60,000 to $70,000 depending on experience
  • Stable, growing business with a strong operational focus
  • A role with real responsibility and impact across warehouse, production, and sales
  • Free on-site parking
What you bring
  • Experience in a warehouse or light manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to purchase orders, receipting, freight, and stock control
  • Experience with warehouse/logistics systems (SAP Business One advantageous)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy - this is critical
  • Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment
  • Takes ownership - does not rely on others to catch mistakes
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)

This role suits someone who takes pride in doing things right the first time, values structure and organisation, and wants to be part of a team that runs a tight, efficient operation.

Please note: We will not consider applications from candidates who do not have the legal right to reside and work in New Zealand.
