About the Role
As a Receptionist, you will provide frontline administrative support in a busy healthcare environment. You will be involved in the day-to-day service, engaging with patients, clinical staff and other administrative staff.
You will be part of a very supportive and friendly team of administration staff, doctors and nurses.
This is a permanent part-time role where the working hours are 32 hours per fortnight (0.4 FTE) Monday and Tuesday 8.30am to 5.00pm. Flexible days will be considered. There is no on-call.

About you
As a Receptionist, you will:
- have a bright, outgoing and friendly personality as well as positive outlook,
- possess excellent interpersonal skills ,
- have a passion for delivering a consistently high level of customer service,
- be highly empathetic and respect the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality,
- have demonstrated the ability to manage a busy workload, adapt, prioritise and problem solve in a fast paced health care environment,
- be a competent typist and possess a sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, but is not essential.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
