We are seeking a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) to join our team, working on a full renovation of a rental property to achieve Code of Compliance with council requirements, as well as property and building maintenance across a portfolio of rental properties in the Wellington region working from our yard in Petone.
Property maintenance includes: Painting, fences, repairs, roofing, yard maintenance, commercial floor and carpet maintenance, building and window cleaning, etc
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out building works to meet NZ Building Code and council compliance requirements.
- Complete renovation works, repairs, and upgrades to residential rental properties.
- Undertake general property and building maintenance tasks across multiple sites.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and health & safety regulations.
Requirements: Current Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) registration.
Proven onsite experience in residential construction and renovations.Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and council compliance processes.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks to deadlines.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Current driver’s licence.
