Construction Project Manager
ConInnova NZ is a forward-thinking construction and engineering solutions company, delivering innovative and sustainable building projects across the North Island. We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex building developments and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
About the Role
As a Construction Project Manager at ConInnova NZ, you will oversee end-to-end project delivery from planning and procurement through to execution and completion. You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes across a diverse range of building projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage construction projects from initiation through to handoverOversee site operations, subcontractors, and engineering teams
Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety, and environmental standards
Manage project costs, budgets, and schedules
Review and approve project documentation, contracts, and technical submissions
Build strong client and stakeholder relationships
Drive innovation and value engineering in project execution
About You
You will bring proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects and have strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldStrong knowledge of conditions of contracts, building codes, and international standards
Extensive experience in managing high-rise buildings, commercial developments, infrastructure, and public sector projects
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and related software
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities
Preferred:
Postgraduate qualifications, such as an MBAProfessional memberships in engineering or project management bodies
Experience in both contractor and consultant project management roles
Experience in civil engineering and construction projects
What We Offer
Minimum 40 hours of work per weekCompetitive salary in the range of NZD 100,000 – 130,000 (6-monthly salary review based on performance)
Based in our Auckland office, with work across North Island projects as required
