Fast Food Cook

We are a busy Korean restaurant based in East Tamaki, Auckland. We serve a la carte menu for a wide range of Korean food including entrée and mains. We are now hiring 2 full time Fast Food Cooks.

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week (Minimum 30 hours guaranteed)

Payrate $25.50 to $30.00 per hour

Job duties of the position offered :

• Taking and serving food and beverage orders, and receiving payment from customers
• Preparing and cooking food such as entrees, sides and fast food dishes on the menu
• Washing, cutting, measuring and mixing foods for cooking
• Operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves and deep-fat fryers
• Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils
• Ordering and taking delivery of fast food ingredients
• May arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages

Requirements of the position offered:

• No specific qualification or certificate is required as we will provide on site training
• Relevant work experience is preferred but not a compulsory
• Be available to work on weekends and public holidays as per the roster
• Flexibility to work within a 7-Days a week operation including split shifts
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with good communication skills and team spirit
• Able to work till late evenings
