Customer Experience Team Leader – Mitre 10 MEGA Prestons

Mitre 10 continues to be proudly New Zealand owned and operated, and we're excited to announce the opening of our newest store. As we build our team from the ground up, we're looking for a motivated and experienced Customer Experience Team Leader to help us deliver the exceptional service our customers know and love.

As the Customer Experience Team Leader, you'll lead our Customer Experience team — a combined group that includes both Checkouts and the Customer Service Desk. Together, this team is the heart of our store and the first point of contact for all customer enquiries, whether that's answering phones, processing special orders, or providing fast, friendly service at the checkout.

• Leading, training, and supporting your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences every time
• Creating and managing effective rosters to ensure coverage across all service areas
• Maintaining high service standards and a calm, professional environment — even when it's busy
• Coaching and developing your team to grow their confidence, efficiency, and customer focus

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Sunday to Thursday on a roster that includes at least one evening shift finishing at 7:15 pm.

• Proven team leadership experience in a customer-facing or retail environment
• Strong rostering and organisational skills
• A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
