About the RoleYou will be working within a large Renal Service and be responsible for training patients onto Peritoneal Dialysis for Te Manawa Taki . You will also case manage patients on dialysis in the community to ensure their health needs are met.
Click here to view the position description. About the Team/ServiceThe Regional Renal Service provides acute and chronic Renal services for Waikato, Lakes, Bay of Plenty and Tairawhiti. This includes all aspects of renal care including Hospital based dialysis, Home therapies for both Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis, Chronic Kidney Disease and Renal Transplantation.

We are the second largest Renal service in New Zealand. About youRequired skills & experience you will need to be consider for this role:Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o WaitangiRegistered Nurse with a current practising certificateAttained Expert/Senior Nurse level on the PDRPMinimum of 5 years Renal Nursing (preferably in Peritoneal Dialysis)Experience in educating patientsExperience case managing patients in the communityCurrent drivers licenceExperience in adult teaching an advantagePost graduate studies desirableEnthusiastic and hardworking Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
