Delivery Driver/Storeman

Our client is a well-known family-owned food distribution business searching for a Storeman/Delivery Driver to join their friendly team.
About the role
You will deliver crates of food items to cafes, restaurants, and retirement villages around Christchurch. This position is face-to-face with a variety of customers so being well-presented & friendly is a must.
Key Responsibilities- Operating a forklift to load and unload trucks
- General warehouse duties, including picking and packing
- Freezer work as required
- Local deliveries around Christchurch
- Supporting day-to-day warehouse operations as needed
The position is Monday-Friday working between the hours of 5am-3pm + every second or third Saturday as required.
The starting pay rate for this position is: $26.00p/h + 8% Holiday Pay.
The Successful Candidate will:- Have a Full Class 1 clean licence and be able to drive a manual vehicle
- Current forklift licence with proven experience (OSH)
- Physically fit, with the ability to handle regular manual lifting
- Strong multitasking ability and comfort moving between warehouse, forklift, and driving duties
- Have good knowledge of the Christchurch area
- Be trustworthy and have great customer service
