Support Worker - Casual

Are you experienced Support Worker looking for flexible hours and meaningful work? As our services expand across Northland, we're looking for reliable and compassionate individuals to join our casual support team in Whangarei.

About the role:

You will be providing essential support to people in their homes and community, including:

• Personal cares (showering, dressing, toileting).
• Medication support.
• Meal preparation and home management tasks.
• Assistance with mobility and daily routines.
• Community outing and companionship.

You'll work across a variety of shifts – morning, lunch, afternoon, evenings, and weekends – based on client needs and your availability.

About You:

We're looking for support workers who:

• Have previous experience in disability, aged care, mental health, or community support.
• Are confident working independently in home-based settings.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Show empathy, patience, and professionalism at all times.
• Hold a Full or Restricted NZ driver's licence (own transport preferred).
• Are eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing) are a plus, but not essential if you bring strong experience and the right attitude.
