We’re looking for a permanent, part-time, Storeperson to join our Mammoth team in Christchurch. Join our team to make a difference in Kiwi homes and properties!

Work Hours:
  • 20 hours per week
  • Standard work hours: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with flexibility to adjust start and finish times based on business needs.
  • Work hours may increase based on business needs and demand.
Day to day duties include:
  • Optimise all dispatch processes
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed
  • Ensure all operating procedures are observed
  • Liaise with all staff to optimize production and dispatch
  • Ensure all dispatch is organised in a timely manner
  • Ensure correct and accurate records of all deliveries inwards and outwards
  • Optimise transport usage
  • Ensure customers are aware of any deliveries being made to them
  • Represent the company and its brands in a positive and professional way.
Skills and qualifications needed:
  • Knowledge of stock management and dispatch processes
  • Must have a current full driver's license.
  • Having a current Forklift and hoist license is required.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25kgs
  • Experience loading and unloading containers and trucks
  • Experience with inventory management including regular stocktakes
  • Ability to work alone in a warehouse environment
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and a 'can do' attitude
  • Accuracy with pick and packing customer orders
  • Basic computer knowledge (training will be provided)
  • Understand and follow health & safety requirements and procedures

You must be eligible to work in NZ - having NZ residency or hold a valid NZ work permit to apply for this role and be able to provide a satisfactory Ministry of Justice check.
