Sprinkler Technician/Fitter

Life Safety Services is a full service fire protection company providing fire engineered solutions for commercial and industrial sectors, covering all disciplines of Fire Detection, Prevention and Extinguishment. We bring years of combined experience in safeguarding people and buildings from fire.

Responsibilities include (not limited to):
  • Perform installation, repair and maintenance of sprinkler systems/products/devices;
  • Perform services (including on-call) following manufacturer instructions, relevant NZ fire protection standards and company policies/processes;
  • Verify and select proper materials for assigned jobs per the job specs, follow up re materials in timely manner;
  • Identify changes of assigned jobs and advise the same to relevant staff to ensure changes are made correctly;
  • Record relevant detailed info for any jobs (in-progress and completed etc.);
  • Train other technicians when required.

(Note: weekly standby meal allowance (if on call) + call-out fees (if any call-outs).)
