As a Service Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting patient care by maintaining and repairing equipment used daily in hospitals, aged care homes, and private settings. Your work ensures comfort, safety, and independence for those who need it most.

What You'll Do:

  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a range of low-voltage medical equipment (think hospital beds, patient lifts, mobility gear)
  • Perform annual safety checks and calibrations to keep everything running safely
  • Maintain your own mobile workspace (company van + parts)
  • Accurately log your jobs using service management software
  • Be a calm, reassuring presence in sensitive environments - from aged care to rehab facilities

You'll bring:

  • 2+ years in a mechanical, electronic, or hands-on service technician role
  • Current ESTA or EAS registration (or willing to work towards EWRB)
  • Solid time management and a cool head under pressure
  • Strong IT skills and a clean full NZ driver's licence
  • A compassionate, professional approach - suited to healthcare environments
  • Willingness to undergo drug/alcohol, police, and ACC checks
