About the Role

The Health Care Assistant role supports our Registered Nurses in delivering a high standard of nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit and High Dependency Unit (ICU/HDU). This position involves working under the direction of our nursing team who are committed to delivering comprehensive, quality care to patients.
Responsibilities vary from working with a wide range of patient conditions to the cleaning and setting up of high-tech equipment.

About the Team/Service/Location
The ICU/HDU unit is a busy, acute in-patient unit comprising a clinical team of Medical, Nursing and Allied Health professionals. We provide acute Intensive Care and High Dependency Care for up to 20 patients.

About You
You will have experience as a Health Care Assistant in a health care setting or in a related health care service.
What you will bring:
Level 4 Health Care Assistant (or other relevant qualification)Team player
Self-motivated
Adaptable
Positive, can-do attitude
Availability to work rostered shifts including, morning, afternoon, and night duties across seven days
