Northern Automotive Truck & Tractor (2015) Ltd is seeking a motivated and organised Administrator & Accounts professional to join our busy workshop office. This is a key role supporting daily operations, customer service, and financial administration.

About the Role

You will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative and accounts tasks, including: Administration & Customer Service

  • Front-of-house reception duties
  • Greeting customers and managing enquiries
  • Answering phones and booking jobs
  • Supporting the workshop team with scheduling and workflow
Accounts & Finance
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Banking and daily cash handling
  • Credit control – maintaining low debtor levels and supporting cashflow
  • Setting up and monitoring payment plans
  • PPSR registering and tracking
  • Entering and coding purchase invoices
  • Monthly statement reconciliations and 20th-of-month payment runs
  • Creating sales invoices, coding, and finalising jobs
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience within automotive industry is advantageous
  • Previous experience in administration and accounts
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a professional, friendly manner
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
  • Experience with MYOB (Accountright) and Mechanics Desk (advantage)
  • A proactive, reliable team player
Hours of Work
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm
  • Hours are flexible for the right person
