Harbour Cancer & Wellness is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Clinical Trials Laboratory Technician to support our growing clinical trials portfolio.

About the Role

As a key member of our research unit, you will be responsible for the accurate collection, processing, tracking, and shipment of biological samples in accordance with sponsor protocols and ICH-GCP standards. You'll collaborate closely with investigators, coordinators, and clinical staff to ensure seamless study execution and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and Quality Check study kits and sample tubes
  • Maintain laboratory documentation and trackers
  • Monitor inventory and manage shipments
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners (Contract Research Organisations, Clinical Research Associates, labs)
  • Support audits and inspections
  • Perform basic sample processing and temperature monitoring
  • Lead and mentor within the lab team, supporting training and development
What You'll Bring:
  • Tertiary qualification in Biomedical or Biological Sciences
  • Current IATA certification
  • 3-4 years' lab experience (non-clinical trial), plus 1+ year in clinical trial settings
  • Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP standards
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
