Large property development company, CBD location, reporting to a COO

  • Project focused financials, develop internal controls & continuous improvements
  • CA qualified Financial Controller, managing small team, broad focused role

Reporting to the COO, the Financial Controller is responsible for managing the accounting and finance functions across multiple development projects and entities. Responsible for account management for allocated projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly accounts and group consolidation
  • Manage the companies' financial accounting
  • Monitor cashflow for all companies including inter-company transactions
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations for all companies (including payroll, invoicing, banking, and other transactions)
  • Process settlements across all companies
  • Prepare monthly drawdowns across multiple different debt facilities and project entities
  • Liaise with external funders including reconciling monthly loan statements and monthly drawdown processes

We are looking for a CA qualified Financial Controller with solid experience working in a commercial environment, property experience would be desirable but not essential. You must have strong communication skills and the ability to operate in a fast moving environment with resilience and confidence to take initiative.
