Support Worker - Full time Kapiti

MASH Trust are a leading provider of disability, mental health, and addiction services. We have services throughout the lower North Island with over 550 staff and volunteers. As a learning organisation we offer funded Health & Wellbeing qualifications and study days to support you with your learning.

We have a full-time position working 80 hours per week in Paraparaumu.

Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 12.30pm - 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 2.35pm - 11.15pm

Skills and Experience:

• An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles
• Previous Support Worker experience required
• The ability to understand, communicate and connect with people
• Professionalism, honesty and be a reliable team player with a flexible approach
• Energy, enthusiasm and enjoy being part of a team
• The ability to carry out personal cares including showering and dressing
• Full NZ Driver Licence as part of your role will be driving a MASH van
• A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or commitment to working towards a qualification funded by MASH Trust
