What You’ll Be Doing...
  • Recruiting and Onboarding Installers
  • Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight
  • SME, Group Home Builder (GHB) and Small Commercial Technical Support
You will be one of 4 Technical Managers nationwide working closely with a group of Franchise Business Owners, as well as taking the national lead for your area of expertise. The great news is that Harrisons already has a successful business model in place, so all you need to do is bring your talent to the mix to create the perfect recipe!

You’ll also provide hands-on support to improve the technical capabilities of our franchise network and drive consistent, high-quality installations across all regions.

Key Responsibilities...
--> Installer and Business Owner Coaching and Support
--> Support Business Owners with pricing and design tools
--> Coach installers on SOPs, customer interaction and best practices
--> Troubleshoot escalated technical issues
--> Conduct in-home and on-site quality checks
--> Installer Recruitment & Onboarding
--> Recruit new Franchisee Installers as required
--> Manage compliance documents, licenses and insurance
--> Train new installers on systems, tools and safety protocols
--> Maintain a national register of approved installation crews
--> QMS & Compliance Oversight
--> Align QMS with Sustainable Energy Association of NZ (SEANZ) and industry best practices
--> Lead audits and reporting on installation quality and compliance
--> Work closely with the Health & Safety Manager and other Technical Managers to maintain standards
--> SME & Small Commercial Oversight
--> Review designs and proposals for small commercial and GHB projects

--> Provide input on complex installations in collaboration with Business Owners

What You’ll Bring...
  • 5+ years of practical experience in Solar installation or a related technical field
  • Current Registered Electrician (with EWRB practising licence) and Mains Parallel Generation endorsement (or ability to obtain by September 2026), OR a strong engineering background with proven hands-on experience in solar system design, installation and commissioning
  • Strong background in onboarding, coaching/training or team leadership
  • Familiarity with QMS, compliance and H&S frameworks
  • Great troubleshooting ability and attention to detail
  • Confident working with digital systems and reporting tools
  • A willingness to travel regularly within your region
