Waiter

At Pap House, we are dedicated to providing outstanding customer experience.

We are seeking an experienced Waiter to join our dynamic team at Pap House in the vibrant city of Tauranga. This full-time role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

As the face of our establishment, you will play a vital part in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience for our guests

Depending on your skills and experience an hourly pay of $24 to $26

1. Arranging table settings, including cutlery, glassware, and linens
2. Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner
3. Providing customers with food and beverage menus and knowledgeable recommendations
4. Taking orders accurately and communicating them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff
5. Serving food and beverages to the tables and ensuring prompt and attentive table service
6. Removing emptie bottles and glasses and replenishing them according to customer need
7. Handling cash and card payments efficiently through POS/cash register system and eftpos machine
8. Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen and resetting tables

• You will need to have atleast 1 year of relevant work experience or a relevant NZQF level 2 or 3 qualification
• Food and beverage pairing knowledge
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays/public holidays
• Understanding of laws around sale and supply of alcohol in licensed premises

You will be required to pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug test and backround checks. Once employed, you may be subjected to random, post-incident, or reasonable-cause testing.
