About the Opportunity
Phase Safe Electricalis looking for aSenior Commercial Electricianto help grow our electrical division.
This is not just another “on the tools” role. The position is designed to be approximately50% hands-on electrical work and 50% focused on growing the business (Sales).
You will initially deliver high-quality commercial electrical work while alsodeveloping relationships, preparing quotes, generating new work, and helping grow our commercial client base.
As the workload grows, the goal is tobuild a team around you and transition into a leadership or management position within the electrical division.
The key difference in this opportunity is thatyou won’t be doing it alone.You will havefull sales, admin, and operational support behind you, allowing you to focus onworking with customers, delivering quality work, and growing the businesswithout the stress that normally comes with running everything yourself.

- Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and deliver high-quality workmanship
- Prepare accurate quotes and scopes for electrical work
- Build strong relationships with commercial clients
- Identify opportunities for additional work and help generate new business
- Assist with project planning and job coordination where required
- Support the growth of the electrical division and future team development
- NZ Registered Electrician with current practising licence
- 10+ years experiencein commercial or industrial electrical work
- Proven experience quoting electrical work and estimating projects
- Strong knowledge of switchboards, wiring systems, and commercial installations
- HVAC electrical experience beneficial but not essential
- Professional, reliable, and strong communicator at a senior level
- Commercial mindset with the ability to develop new work opportunities
