Operations Support - Delivery Driver

Our warehouse team is small but deals with large volume of products/orders. We aim to recruit high quality candidates who are able to multi-task and fit well with our culture. In return, we offer ongoing training and a supportive work place environment.

This a permanent 40 hours per week position. Pay rate is $25- $30 per hour.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Hand unloading and delivering goods in trucks
• Complete truck checks before loading goods
• Picking and checking goods for dispatch
• Palletising goods in a systematic and efficient manner
• Receiving, verifying and documenting incoming / outgoing and returned goods
• Loading and unloading trucks and sea containers, manually as well as with forklift
• Managing health and safety requirements, including identifying and reporting hazards
• Using initiatives to solve the problems
• Maintaining a safe, clean work environment

We operate 7 days a week, and so the ideal candidate must be flexible to operate varying shifts which includes weekend. Given the nature of the role, whilst you will be based at our warehouse in Wiri, travel outside of Auckland is required for 2-3 days a week with overnight stays as required.

• Class 2 licence is essential or overseas equivalent
• Ability to drive both manual as well as automatic vehicle
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test (essential)
• Be able to lift up to 20 kg
• MPI Accredited Person training (desirable)
• Forklift license will be beneficial (otherwise training/certification can be provided)
• Friendly and approachable
• Able to multi task and work towards a common goal
• Experience in logistics industry (desirable)
