Delivery driver

We have full time opportunities for Delivery Driver to work in Auckland region. You will be required to work between Monday-Friday for minimum 30 hours to maximum 50 hours. The timings will be 12:30 AM to 6AM on weekdays whereas Saturday and Sunday shift timings are from 2.20 Am to 7AM. Our drivers are required to work sometime for long hours and finish their shift ensuring all deliveries have been made.
Must be flexible regarding hours on weekdays. We are a friendly team of dedicated people to provide outstanding services and products to society.
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver newspapers to businesses, dealers, and residential customers on an assigned route.
- Complete delivery rounds accurately and within required timeframes.
- Read and follow run sheets to ensure correct delivery quantities and locations.
- Reconcile delivered newspapers with delivery documentation before leaving each drop-off point.
- Report shortages, oversupply, damaged copies, or delays immediately to the nominated representative.
- Distribute promotional materials as directed.
- Ensure newspapers are kept clean, dry, and in good condition at all times.
- Comply with all company health and safety requirements.
- Perform additional duties as directed by management
Job Requirements:
- To be successful you must have at least 1 year of work experience in driving.
- A clean Class 1 New Zealand Driver license or equivalent to international driver License
- Must be physically fit
- A positive attitude and great work ethic
- Zero Tolerance of alcohol and drugs in the workplace
- Clean Character Background
Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $28 per hour to $35 per hour.
