The expertise of the VIRU Clinical Researchers is recognised worldwide, as they support and participate as a lead site in innovative research here in New Zealand.The expertise of the unit lies in medical devices supporting innovation, with the aim of further developing therapeutic treatments for vascular patients.VIRU also participate in a number of single centre, multi-centre and randomised studies.

This is a varied and very satisfying role in a small and supportive high functioning team, which prioritises the differences we make to a patient’s life.
