Freight Loaders - Nightshift - Christchurch
The Roles
We have two positions available for highly competent, experienced Loaders with proven skills to join the team at our Christchurch Branch. You'll be part of our Crossdock night shift crew so you need to be a self-driven problem solver who can think on your feet.
If you’re solid, reliable team player with a ‘Can do, Will do’ attitude, we’d be keen to hear from you.
Hours start late afternoon, typically 3.00pm to 2.00am with some flexibility needed to get the job done. Get in the zone and the rhythm of the night and keep our freight moving!
What you can also offer us:- Extensive forklift driving experience in a high-volume controlled operation.
- Experience and confidence in loading/unloading trucks and containers.
- Good counting and mathematical skills.
- Experience in checking consignments for damage and correct quantities.
- Competence in completing paperwork and keeping in clean and tidy order.
- You’ll have solid computer skills and the ability to learn new technology.
- Commitment to health and safety.
- Fluent in English, with good communication skills.
- Must be fit, healthy and drug free and able to pass pre-employment medical and drug tests.
