Part Time Dispatch Administrator

NDL Transport is a small, (but mighty), locally owned & operated general freight company located in Mount Maunganui. We are a friendly team who work closely together with a "can do" attitude, supporting one another whilst looking after our customers needs.

As an MPI approved facility, we also receive and devan containers. Long & short term storage adds another small area to our hub.

Hours: 7am - close of business, as required (usually around 4pm)

• Booking, scheduling & co-ordinating freight
• Load allocations to trucks, whilst maximizing efficiency
• Customer service communication regarding freight movement, POD's & pricing
• Directing & assisting drivers and monitoring their progress
• Forward planning freight runs

• Vehicle maintenance & compliance
• Driver training & safe loading practice
• Support drivers with accurate information
• Accurate record keeping
• Requesting driver feedback
• Running & maintaining yard

• A good knowledge of general freight & an understanding of the daily demands of the transport industry
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure & independently
• Computer System & logistic software efficiency & the ability to learn
• Excellent problem solving & communication skills
