Key Requirements:
- At least 2 year of relevant experience
- A Level 2 or above relevant qualification.
- Comfortable working at height within orchards or vine canopies
- Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work outdoors in varied conditions
Key Responsibilities:
- Erect, trim, repair, and maintain orchard canopy structures (posts, wires, trellises)
- Measure, position, and secure structural components to support vine or tree growth
- Inspect canopy infrastructure and replace damaged elements to uphold safety and integrity
- Work at height safely, using harnesses and ladders as required
- Stretch and secure support wires, assemble trellis systems, and prepare for seasonal growth
- Collaborate with site supervisors and horticulture teams to plan canopy maintenance activities
- Report on infrastructure condition, incidents, and required repairs
- Maintain compliance with health and safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
