About the opportunity:
This role is suited to someone looking for casual ongoing work.
To be successful in this role, you must:
Have a clean class 2 driver's license.Have a 'can do' attitude with great customer service skills.
Be honest, flexible and reliable.
Be able to cope with early morning starts.
Have a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
Have excellent time management and organisational skills.
Technological knowledge and willingness to learn.
Be comfortable with physical work.
Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
The job involves:
Loading and unloading chilled and ambient products.Inspecting and operating a Class Two truck and completing all paperwork/logbook requirements daily.
Transporting a variety of goods from the Goodman Fielder Distribution centre in Kaiata Park, Greymouth to retailers and food service customers, Operating electronic equipment for each stage of the loading and unloading process
Communicating with customers with a friendly can-do attitude
