Client Services Lead

We are seeking a Client Service Lead who can demonstrate professional leadership with integrity, compassion, and manaakitanga.

Supporting the team to support wahine, tamariki, and whanau experiencing family violence. This includes Ministry of Justice programmes supporting wahine with protection orders.

ODWR is a 24/7 crisis response advocacy service with an expanding range of innovative programmes, including and our newly developed Tane service, delivering behaviour change programmes (individual and group) for tane.

The Client Services Lead provides day-to-day lead across our client-facing services, including:

  • Whanau advocacy services
  • Crisis response and triage
  • Safe house / residential services
  • Tane, tamariki, and whanau programmes
Key responsibilities also include a focus on details and data for reporting and audit purposes MOJ, MSD, OT, and NCIWR-aligned contracts.
  • Providing day-to-day lead across all client services
  • Supporting complex risk assessment and case management
  • Monitoring service delivery and practice standards
  • Supporting quality assurance, case reviews, and continuous improvement
  • Networking and maintaining strong relationships with sector partners
  • Participating in the 24/7 crisis line roster

Skills and experience include:

  • Significant experience in whanau family violence or related social services
  • Experience and confidence providing in this client service lead role
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed and whanau-centred practice
  • Experience managing complex risk and crisis response
  • Knowledge of contractual service delivery environments
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills

Police vetting and Child Safety Worker checks required
