  • Mō mātouThe Enterprise Leader People & Business Services will bring together a group of critical internal delivery functions that provide our people with the tools, capabilities and workplace they need to do their jobs.The People & Business Services group works in partnership with leaders across the business to understand the environment, resources and assistance our people need to meaningfully do their work, and then to deliver seamless support, tools and services directly or via trusted suppliers and partners across all aspects of IR's workforce experience.
The group also has an important role at a system level and maintains key cross-government relationships on behalf of Inland Revenue.This is a large group, which encompasses employment and people management, technology services, enterprise services management, commercial and procurement services, workplace facilities, property, health and safety practices, business resilience, and corporate systems management functions.About you
  • MōuAll of the E&IS Enterprise Leaders are expected to demonstrate the following:Digital literacy capability: this acknowledges the rapidly changing digital environment and its expected impacts on the way we work.
We expect these leaders to understand and be open to emerging technologies, new tools and ways of working.Customer advisory capability: this reflects the requirement for these positions to deliver seamless end-to-end service, supporting the business to operate as efficiently as possible.To be successful in this role you will also bring the following:Experience working with an executive leadership team to understand and fulfil their requirements, and the ability to translate the needs of an organisation and its people into current and future service requirements, balancing feasibility with demand.Experience in leading the design and delivery of fit-for-purpose corporate services within a large organisation, balancing levels of service with in-time requirements and cost and effort constraints.Strategies and tactics to ensure the right combination and interaction of automation, tools and on-point advice and expertise is provided, taking a customer perspective.The ability to ensure commercial and procurement frameworks, policies, processes and services act effectively as relevant, targeted and coherent enablers for decision-making and activity across the organisation.Experience in the deployment and integration of new tools, services and practices, and the ability to oversee the organisational change management associated with that.The ability to lead and reinforce the connections between common processes and systems, and to provide confidence in the quality and continuity of these key functional areas.Apply here
