Experienced Civil and Earthmoving Site Leading Han
Temp to perm contracts available for the right people
- Pay negotiable from $35p/h depending on skill and experience
- Start Monday 12th January
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Great opportunity for an experienced civil/earthmoving site working foreman/leading hand with a well established yet still young and exciting client of ours, reporting to the site supervisor and area manager you will have the ability to lead and manage a crew on day-to-day operations.
- Great $$$ negotiable from $35p/h depending on experience and skill
- Full PPE provided
- Permanent contracts on offer
- Typical work days are 07:00am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday however longer days and Saturday work may be required through the dryer season (make hay while the sun shines!)
YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF:
- Class 1 full licence with WTR endorsements is required
- Proven team leader with the ability to lead from the front when it comes to working in machinery and on the ground
- Proven experience in earthworks and civil construction
- Ability to lead and manage a crew on day-to-day operations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with the Site Supervisor and Area Manager
- Experience coordinating daily tasks, plant, and manpower
- Understanding of productivity, quality control, and site requirements
- Sound knowledge of health and safety expectations on civil sites
- Tech savvy and able to use an iPad for pre-starts and site documentation
- Can pass a drug screen
- Reliable transport to and from work
