HVAC Technician Needed

We are looking for 1 skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our busy team for an immediate start.

Pay: $33 - $36 per hour

Your duties will include:

• Configure, test, and commission IT and communication links between HVAC equipment, controllers, sensors, and gateways
• Commission and support networked HVAC control systems
• Diagnose and resolve communication and control faults affecting HVAC and smart home systems
• Support system integration between HVAC installations and building management and control platforms
• Assist in the installation, commission, and testing of air-conditioning and heat-pump systems
• Install, terminate, and test data and control cabling
• Ensure all work complies with New Zealand standards and health and safety requirements

Successful applicants will have:

• A relevant Level 4 qualification (or higher) in IT, automation, or a related field, AND
• At least one year of relevant experience in HVAC controls, building automation, smart home systems, or a related industry
• Sound knowledge of IT systems, networking, and communication protocols
• Good understanding of HVAC electrical and control systems
• Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and control-related faults
• Strong attention to safety, compliance, and quality workmanship
